A Mouthwatering Prospect
The Toyota GR 86 is a lightweight front-engine, rear-wheel-drive sports car which was announced in April 2021; Powered by a 2.4-liter horizontally opposed four-cylinder DOHC engine capable of 235hp, the GR 86 delivers direct feel and the joy of driving to owners. It is recreated by this R/C model assembly kit, with the stylish form expertly recreated by a polycarbonate body.
 

★This image gives another angle on the model, with the car's stylish form captured by a polycarbonate body.
★Headlight cases are separate polycarbonate parts, and give a super realistic look with stickers applied.
★The air intakes which sandwich the front bumper on either side are also depicted with authenticity by stickers.
 

★The Functional Matrix Grille is also depicted using a sticker; the license plate is cut out of polycarbonate.
★Stickers on the rear of the front fenders are on hand to ensure that air outlets are realistically rendered.
★Side mirrors use two types of black (bottom: semi-gloss); mirror surfaces are also cut out of polycarbonate.
 
★Left: The roof indentation is captured in style, as is the stylish shark fin.

★Right: The duckbill trunk lid is an eye-catcher. Rear combination lamps are separate polycarbonate parts.
 
TT-02: Adaptable, balanced shaft driven 4WD
The shaft-driven 4WD TT-02 chassis employs a longitudinal layout with the battery on the left and the motor on the right, to give excellent stability. In addition, it features identical left and right suspension arms and uprights for ease of assembly, plus easy-to-maintain gearboxes. It is a highly adaptable chassis, as it offers 2 different wheelbases, 2 ground clearance settings and 2 tread set-ups in addition to a range of 10 possible gear ratios. It is not short on looks either, with brake disc-shaped wheel hubs and stylish front bumper supports. Black 10-spoke wheels use tread patterned semi-pneumatic tires.
 
★Left: Resin ball links in the steering linkage joints make for smooth, comfortable motion.

★Right: Wheel hubs are shaped to look like brake discs.
 
★Left: Motor cover includes removable cooling duct (not attached in image).
